The Welcome Return of Hymn Singing led by St Mary's Choir last Sunday

With the return of live music and hymn singing at St Mary’s last Sunday to accompany the service of Holy Communion, led by our Rector, the Rev Alex Wheatley, there was a good attendance for our usual morning service. The singing, was probably the last element of the traditional service to be restored and there was no doubt that the congregation enjoyed the experience with favourite hymns being led once more by St Mary’s Church Choir. Future services will follow this format and it is hoped that many more from our congregation will return to enjoy this popular Sunday service. The morning service next Sunday will also be Holy Communion again led by the Rector. All are welcome.
