The Week in our Church

Friday May 24th, would normally have been the Rev Gill Smith giving her Thought for the Day on BigglesFM, but the talk has been postponed until next Friday, May 31st,

so please tune in to 104.8 on the dial, at 8.15am.

Last Sunday was the end of Christian Aid Week so after the morning service, a delicious traditional roast lunch was served up in the church hall be Rosemary and her team of helpers, and all the proceeds were donated to Christian Aid. If anyone has not yet handed in their contribution envelope, these can still be handed in at Tysoe’s shop on the Square. The morning service next Sunday, is Holy Communion with prayer ministry.

Morning Prayer services will be held next week, at Sutton Church on Thursday, and on Tuesday and Friday at St Mary’s, all services at 9am. Our First Steps toddler and baby group meet today as usual in the church hall at 9.30am. Please note that First Steps now continues to meet during every half term break.
