Bishop's Harvest Appeal - 2021

Dear Friends,

Many of you will know that each year Bishop Alan adopts a particular charity / activity to support through his Harvest Appeal.

Our wonderful, generous, congregation and supporters have always contributed to these appeals and will do so again this year.

Although some months away, it is never too early to think about what we might want and be able to do and we might be motivated and persuaded through the event below.

The Bishop's team have said

"We have pleasure in inviting you to share in the Launch Event ‘Prayer Breakfast’ for this year’s Bishop of St Albans’ Harvest Appeal, ‘Water is Life’ -  more details are in the attached invitation, which also contains the Eventbrite link; however, you can also register here:  https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/harvest-appeal-2021-prayer-breakfast-water-is-life-tickets-154258967725

This special event is planned with our Appeal Partner, Tearfund, for Bishop Alan to launch his 2021 Harvest Appeal, along with our other Bishops, Michael (Hertford) and Richard (Bedford).  The Prayer Breakfast will give us the opportunity to hear first-hand from a Project Manager in the Democratic Republic of Congo, who will share stories and pictures of the transformational work happening there.  We hope you will come to see and hear more about ‘Water is Life’ and share in prayer for all that God will do and bring to people in DRC through it.

This Launch is ‘Open to Everyone’  – we hope you will come, be inspired and share in this occasion with us  – do also pass this invitation email to other friends and colleagues – it is an Everyone Welcome occasion!"

Meanwhile, if anybody has an idea of how we might want to support this scheme, please contact David Tall, our PCC Secretary at dandrtall@gmail.com
